The College will hold a Special Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 21 July at 5.30pm in the Function Centre.
All members of the College community are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the Parents & Friends (P&F) Association, connect with other families, and find out how you can become involved. Anyone interested in nominating for a position on the night, or simply wishing to learn more about what the P&F is all about, is warmly encouraged to attend.

Year 5 Pre-Eisteddfod music workshop
The Year 5s took over the new JC on the second last day of school for their Pre-Eisteddfod Band Workshop!
The new campus was filled with musical sounds as students spent a session working in focused small sectional rehearsals with guest tutors before coming together as an incredible full 47-piece concert band. This was the first opportunity for many of our young musicians to play alongside students who share the same instrument from the other campus, and the excitement was impossible to miss!
We are incredibly proud of the effort and positivity shown by all students and can't wait to see them take the stage at the Eisteddfod. What an exciting glimpse into the future of our music program!

Census Privacy Collection Notice
Commonwealth Census will be held on Tuesday, 11 August. We will be collating data regarding our staff and students and submitting for LEQ to declare through SchoolsHUB for the Australian Government Department of Education.
It is a requirement to advise parents, guardians, and staff about the department’s use of Census data. Please click for more information.

From the Junior College Directors of Campus
Welcome back to Term 3. This week marks a significant milestone in ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥â€™s history as we brought together our two Junior Campuses into one Junior College community. After many years and months of planning and preparation, it has been exciting to see students learning, playing and connecting in our new environment. There was a great sense of energy throughout the week as students explored their new learning spaces and settled into new routines. Transitions of this scale inevitably come with a few challenges along the way, and we would like to sincerely thank parents for their patience, understanding and support as we work through any teething issues. The positive partnership between home and school has been greatly appreciated.

JC Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
As we settle into our new routines, we would like to sincerely thank all families for your patience, understanding, and support as we continue to refine our drop-off and pick-up procedures. Your cooperation has helped make the transition smoother for everyone and, most importantly, has assisted us in maintaining a safe environment for our students.
To help keep traffic flowing efficiently and ensure the safety of all students, please take note of the following reminders:
Morning Drop Off
- When entering the Drop Off Zone, please drive all the way to the top before allowing your child to exit the vehicle. This helps keep traffic moving efficiently.
- Parents are asked to remain in their vehicles at all times in the Drop Off Zone.
- If you are parking and walking students into the College, please use the designated zebra crossings.
- All gates will be open at 8.00am to allow students to enter the campus. Gates will be closed at 8:30am each morning for student safety.
- Students arriving after 8:30am must be signed in at Reception by a parent or caregiver.
Afternoon Pick Up
- The Drive Through Zone opens at 3:05pm.
- If you arrive before 3:05pm, please do not queue in the Drive Through area. Instead, park in the car park until the zone opens.
- For safety reasons, students must enter vehicles from the passenger side only.
- Please be respectful and follow staff directions as they work to keep traffic moving and ensure student safety.
Parking Reminder
- Families who prefer to park and walk into the College are welcome to use the WSC Oval parking area.
Thank you again for your ongoing support. By working together and following these procedures, we can ensure that arrival and departure times remain safe, efficient, and positive for all members of our College community.

JC Year 4 Camp
The Year 4 Hume Street Campus and Warwick Street Campus students will be attending a three-day camp from Wednesday 22 July to Friday 24 July at Gold Coast Recreation Centre, Tallebudgera.
The students will participate in a variety of activities suitable for their age and ability levels. The activities are designed for fun, experiential learning, personal development and building team skills.
If you haven't already done so, please jump into Parent Lounge to provide your permission.
