STEM Day at ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥
This is an event for upper primary students across Toowoomba interested in the fascinating world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ invites Year 5 students from across the Toowoomba region to join us for a full day of hands-on STEM learning, new experiences and plenty of fun. Students will spend the day exploring exciting workshops in 3D design, drone technology and food science while getting a genuine feel for life at ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥. It is a chance to meet our teachers, enjoy our campus and discover what learning in the middle years can look like.
For families considering the next step after primary school, STEM Day is a wonderful opportunity to experience the warmth, energy and opportunities that make ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ such a special place.

What students will do
Throughout the day, students will rotate through engaging workshops designed to challenge their thinking and spark their imagination and meet new friends.
3D Modelling and Laser Cutting
Students will create digital designs and see how technology can turn ideas into something real.
Drone Technologies
Students will explore how drones work and discover the many ways they are used in the world around us.
Food Waste Investigation
Through fermentation and pickling, students will look at practical ways science can help us rethink waste and sustainability.
